Barnard Griffin Columbia Valley Cabernet Merlot

Very floral on the nose. Sweet with a quick bite at the end. This red blend from Washington is 53% Cabernet Sauvignon, 44% Merlot, & 3% Cabernet Franc. With the mother-in-law in town for my daughters first birthday, it helped us get through the prep work the night before. 5.5 out of 10 rating - slightly above average and good for the $10 price tag @ Sam's Wine. And oddly enough, there is no year on the bottle.

If you haven't had a chance to visit the Columbia River Valley on the boarder of WA/OR, you should consider it. Beautiful part of the country I was lucky enough to visit last May with the family.
