Murphy-Goode Liar's Dice 2007 Zinfandel

This $13 Total Wine selection was good for supporting my weekend grilling habit...but it barely lasted a second night being opened as it's already starting to turn. Very jammy, forward blackberry and raspberry. The tannins are strong enough to tickle your nose hairs.

$13 seems to be a good price compared to an average of $19 per bottle from the online vendors. I'll rate it just above average at 6/10, so it's a good one to try, but not overwhelmingly special.
